    Aqua sea glass is made from glass that contains copper, which is a metallic element with a distinctive blue-green color. Copper is often used to create pigments and dyes, and it has also been used in the production of glass for many centuries.
     
    When copper is added to the molten glass mixture, it reacts with the other minerals in the glass to produce a blue-green color. The intensity of the aqua color depends on the amount of copper that is used, as well as the other minerals present in the glass.
     
    Aqua sea glass is relatively uncommon, although it is not as rare as some other colors of sea glass, such as red and purple. It is often found in shades of light to medium aqua, although deeper shades of aqua are also possible.
